This holiday season, the timeless Christmas classic makes its return! Sinfonia Rotterdam proudly presents Tchaikovsky’s masterpiece, The Nutcracker. As we immerse ourselves in the familiar musical tale of Clara and the Sugar Fairy, we also weave in the magic of wintery and festive melodies by the illustrious Mozart.
Our esteemed guest for the evening is none other than the remarkable recorder player, Erik Bosgraaf, recipient of the prestigious Dutch Music Prize.
Last chance: photo exhibition NEIGHBOURS
Visit NEIGHBOURS before, during, or after your concert at de Doelen. This photo exhibition in the Grote Zaal Foyer welcomes de Doelen’s neighbours from the Oude Westen neighborhood.
Café Marseille, pet store De Rimboe, and ice cream shop De Ijssalon set the scene for a lively area where residents of all ages and styles come together. Photographer Robin Utrecht and creative producer Mieke van der Linden shine a spotlight on this diversity with a series of portraits. Utrecht, known for his work during Lunchbreak concerts and royal state visits, shows in this series that ordinary people are anything but ordinary.
This man can do anything! So inspiring and technically impeccable.
