For over half a century, de Doelen has been a leading institution in Rotterdam and beyond. With a clear vision for the future, we aim to be a vibrant institution that connects with the city and its residents, serving as a meeting place for all Rotterdammers. From classical music lover and culture lover to pop fanatic, from millennial to boomer and everyone in between. A multifunctional culture house, creative studio, People Palace or living room where culture and society come together.

In our programme and with our audience, partners and staff, we strive for diversity that is an accurate reflection of the world around us. We do not exclude anyone and encourage participation and we make far-reaching adjustments for this. It is our mission to be the international cultural and business heart for all Rotterdammers.
