The country is literally the breeding ground for this playful, engaging circus performance. SenCirk is the first professional circus company in Senegal, which they proudly propagate in their performances.
For the production "Ancrage" ("anchoring"), Modou Fata Touré and his partner Ibrahima Camara experimented with natural materials from their native country. With these materials (mainly straw, earth and wood) they created entirely new instruments and techniques, creating a new face of contemporary African circus.

Far from the traditional codes of African circus and yet anchored in their origins. Expect poetic acrobatics, exciting balancing and playful object manipulation.
