The vocals of Roomful of Teeth are something else. In a Kaleidoscope from Missy Mazzoli, Angélica Negrón, Leilehua Lanzilotti, Nathalie Joachim, Alev Lenz and Caroline Shaw, six of today’s leading composers explore new worlds for the voice with their unique and energetic sound.  

From Hawaii to Puerto Rico, from Pennsylvania to Turkey and from North Carolina to Haiti, the roots of these six composers are scattered all over the world. The unique and energetic sound of Roomful of Teeth links all their different works, each with their different backgrounds and new, complex techniques. Together, they are like a kaleidoscope in which you do not know exactly what you are hearing but you are completely absorbed in the new worlds that emerge before you.
