Sleeping Beauty (4+)

Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra

The enchanting ballet music of Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty, the orchestra, an actress and a live film animation form the ingredients for an unforgettable symphonic fairy tale. Together they tell the famous story about a princess who is cursed by an evil fairy: at the age of sixteen she will die from a prick on a spinning wheel. Fortunately, the good fairy manages to soften the curse; she shall not die, but sleep for a hundred years, until a prince kisses her awake.
