Some names require no introduction. Among those names are Jaap van Zweden and the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra – the absolute very best.

Young pianist Alexandre Kantorow won the prestigious International Tchaikovsky Competition and is described as ‘a fire-breathing virtuoso with poetic charm’ and as ‘the reincarnation of Liszt’. With a program of all-time classics – Mahler’s First symphony and Rachmaninov’s Paganini Rhapsody – we can surely expect some fireworks.

Dutch conductor Jaap van Zweden started as a violist at the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and grew out to be one of the most requested conductors across the globe. Under his direction, Gramophone named the Hong Kong Philharmonic the ‘best orchestra in the world’.
