With the release of the new album *Celebrating Gospel: Love and Hope*, Shirma Rouse, the 48-piece Royal Netherlands Air Force Orchestra, and ZO! Gospel Choir pay a grand tribute to a genre that has moved and united the world.
Gospel also has a special connection to the Netherlands: as early as the 19th century, the Royal House invited African American artists to perform here. That rich musical tradition now resonates on this special album, which brings the great gospel classics of the past century back to life.
To mark the album’s release, a special live concert will be held to present the new work. During this evening, Shirma Rouse, the 48-piece Royal Netherlands Air Force Orchestra, and ZO!
