JODOKCELLO

Jodok Vuille was born on May 4, 1988, in the Emmental region of Switzerland, where he grew up on an organic farm. Surrounded by nature and a quiet rural environment, he developed a strong connection to music at an early age. He began playing the cello when he was six years old, marking the start of his musical journey.

He studied classical music at the Lucerne University of Music, earning his bachelor’s degree in 2011. He later continued his education and completed two master’s degrees, including a concert diploma. During his studies, he also built his own cello by hand, an instrument he still plays today.

After his education, he worked across Europe as a soloist, chamber musician, orchestral performer, and teacher. He eventually began sharing his performances on social media, combining cello music with cinematic natural landscapes and modern covers. This approach brought him widespread international attention.

Under the name “JODOKCELLO,” he became a globally recognized online musician with millions of followers. He has collaborated with major brands and artists and performed in various international settings. His work is known for blending classical cello music with a visually expressive style in natural environments.
