Feelin' Alright 2

The Feelin’ Alright 2 summer tour, featuring Matthijs van Nieuwkerk and the Sven Hammond Big Band, will be with us at de Doelen in Rotterdam on Sunday 28 June for a preview performance.

On 28 June, Rotterdam will transform into a place where music, stories and poetry come together. During Feelin’ Alright 2, Matthijs van Nieuwkerk and the Sven Hammond Big Band will take you on a musical journey through a wonderful, diverse range of music: from jazz, soul and rhythm & blues to surprising gems from pop history.

The evening’s regular features will of course be back too: Nico Dijkshoorn with his sharp observations, poetry and spoken word; the impressive Zo! Gospel Choir, whose powerful voices bring the stage to life; and guitarist Anton Goudsmit, who never fails to surprise with his virtuoso playing night after night.

In addition, they will also be welcoming Waylon, Jett Rebel and Floor Bosman to Rotterdam as special guests for the evening. Together with the band, they will create a unique musical experience that makes every performance just that little bit different.

Feelin’ Alright 2 promises to be an evening full of energy, stories, poetry and fantastic music — exactly as a summer evening in the open-air theatre should be.
