After more than 50 years, the Doelen tapestries were both in dire need of repair and cleaning. The originally Iranian textile restorer Sadeigh Memarian comes by to explain how the repair process works. Both the work of Wil Fruytier ('Rope Dress') and that of Lex Horn ('Orchestra Motifs') are first put in the freezer for 2 weeks to kill all the bugs. Only then can the repair really begin. Sadeigh is familiar with most of the country's major textile art and discovers a major misunderstanding with one of the works in De Doelen.
