Trio Portici

The Belgian Trio Portici, founded in 2005 to mark the 175th anniversary of the Belgian Revolution and named after Auber’s opera La Muette de Portici, has been impressing audiences for years with its musicality, technical perfection and instrumental mastery. The trio has worked with artists including Martha Argerich, Mstislav Rostropovich and Jean-Bernard Pommier. Closely associated with the Belgian royal family, Trio Portici has repeatedly served as a musical ambassador and national gift abroad on official occasions. Their extensive discography on the Pavane label and their international concert career further confirm their reputation.
