The Tallis Scholars and conductor Peter Phillips present a programme in which Renaissance polyphony meets contemporary contemplation. Music by Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina is paired with works by Arvo Pärt, bringing two spiritual sound worlds into dialogue. Palestrina’s clear polyphony and Pärt’s sparse, meditative style share a focus on balance, space and concentration. Together, they create a timeless listening experience in which old and new sacred music reinforce one another.
