Lavinia Meijer

Harpist Lavinia Meijer is one of today’s most versatile musicians. She moves effortlessly between classical music, minimalism and pop, and has collaborated with composers and artists including Philip Glass, Ludovico Einaudi, Patti Smith and Sufjan Stevens. Through her distinctive approach to the repertoire, she has introduced the harp to a wide audience.

Together with multi-instrumentalist Reyer Zwart, Meijer explores music that transcends genres. Their collaboration brings together works by Philip Glass, Meredith Monk and Radiohead, alongside original compositions, creating a sound world centred on intimacy, rhythm and imagination. A concert in which the harp continually takes on new forms.
