Iris Hond & Kamerata-Zuid

Kamerata Zuid is celebrating its tenth anniversary with a revival of its successful concert tour featuring pianist and composer Iris Hond. This programme centres on the music of Ludovico Einaudi, complemented by Iris Hond’s own compositions and works by composers such as Alexander Scriabin and Sergei Rachmaninoff.

Iris Hond’s playing adds a new dimension to Einaudi’s familiar sounds. The composer has previously expressed his appreciation, even describing her interpretation as “one of the most beautiful performances of my music”. This special artistic bond forms the basis of this concert.

The evening’s programme includes a complete performance of Einaudi’s solo concerto Domino. Together with Kamerata Zuid, they create a programme in which soloist and ensemble enhance one another and the music takes centre stage. A concert in which familiar works are brought to life anew, creating space for both contemplation and ensemble playing.
