Rotterdam women's heritage sought – and celebrated on September 13 at De Doelen

Five heritage institutions – Rotterdam City Archives, Rotterdam Library, Atlas van Stolk, Museum Rotterdam, and the Maritime Museum – are joining forces with the Women of Rotterdam network to highlight stories, memories, and contributions made by women. These questions also form the common thread in the program of Meet Up: HERITAGE, which will take place on Saturday, September 13, at De Doelen. During this public event, contributions from Rotterdam residents – from stories to special finds – will take center stage in a program full of conversations, music, and inspiration around the heritage of women in Rotterdam.

Heritage institutions present finds from the city that have been submitted in response to calls for submissions; people or organizations that bring heritage together pitch their ideas for collecting stories, objects, and documents.

7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. 

Focus on heritage in collaboration with the Women's Voices program: a performance by Rotterdam-based Iranian musician Khorshid Dadbeh,  a performance by Rajae Mohandiz about the Art She Crafted exhibition (opening in 2026), and a pub quiz about the musical Women of Rotterdam.
