Pianist Helena Basilova, together with cellist Genevieve Verhage and violinist Jeffrey Bruinsmar, pays an intimate tribute to Ryuichi Sakamoto. His chamber music for piano trio from the album 1996 expresses the refined balance between classical, minimalism and electronic influences. 

Sakamoto's music moves between subdued melodies and deep emotional layers. In this performance, piano, violin and cello bring his sound world to life, in a programme that touches with its subtlety and expressiveness.
