Part I – The First Chapter: Classics in Movies
Before the intermission, we dive into the masterpieces that became world-famous through their role in cinema. Think of music by Rossini, Beethoven, Strauss, Bizet, and Ravel. These compositions have taken generations of moviegoers on journeys filled with adventure, suspense, and deep emotion.

Soprano Laetitia Gerards joins this special evening. Together with the Maestro Jules Orchestra and Maestro Jules as conductor and presenter, they create an accessible and festive programme full of recognition and imagination.

Part II – de Doelen goes Hollywood
After the intermission, the atmosphere shifts as the great film composers take centre stage. In a spectacular tribute to modern cinema, the orchestra brings some of the most beloved film soundtracks to life. Be swept away into worlds of romance and action with music from, among others: Soldaat van Oranje, Schindler’s List, The Godfather, The Lord of the Rings, James Bond, Jaws, and Pirates of the Caribbean.
