Arangetram of Pooja Karthik

Join us for a remarkable evening as Pooja Karthik performs her Arangetram—her first major solo debut in Bharatanatyam, one of India’s most treasured classical dance traditions. Arangetram, meaning “ascending the stage”, marks the culmination of years of dedicated training and artistic growth and is a deeply meaningful milestone in a dancer’s journey.

Accompanied by a live Carnatic music ensemble from India and Paris, the performance follows a traditional Margam—a beautifully structured sequence revealing rhythm, expression, and technique. Under the guidance of her guru, Jolanda Boejharat, Pooja presents an enchanting repertoire that honors both classical tradition and artistic passion.
