De Doelen has more than just music. Throughout the building, you'll find unique post-war art, and in our own art gallery, De Doelen Art, we regularly present new exhibitions. From abstract paintings and modern photography to installations and sculptures: there's always something new to discover. De Doelen Art offers space to many local artists, both emerging and established.
In De Doelen's early years, the Rotterdam Art Foundation had an office and gallery here, and we're now reviving that tradition with renewed energy. De Doelen Art's programming is made possible in part by our partner CBK Rotterdam, with whom we regularly collaborate to organize inspiring exhibitions.

The Wederopbouw MuseumDe Doelen is part of the Wederopbouw Museum, a digital museum that reveals the art and architecture of Rotterdam after the war. Several reconstruction artworks can be discovered in de Doelen, as well as at other locations such as the ss Rotterdam and Central Post.
