Joygail is a DJ, MC and radio host from Amsterdam. His musical world is broad, ranging from laid-back jazz to UK funky, funky house, amapiano and raw grime. For this DJ set, he dives into his record collection. Expect a warm mix of R&B, afrobeat, dub and more, with a touch of UK influence throughout.

As an MC, he has appeared at Passionfruit and Super-Sonic Jam, among others. Behind the decks, Joygail responds to the space and the people in it. His sets feel less like a fixed selection of tracks and more like a conversation with the dancefloor.

His musical curiosity also comes through in his Echobox radio show Joygail Radio. There, he invites artists and music lovers to share tracks that mean something to them. Their selections become a starting point for unexpected discoveries, influences and stories about the people, cultures and history behind the music.
