It is estimated that whoever crosses the event horizon would only be perceived as a frozen image. From beyond, light could not return, trapped by such a powerful attraction that even its speed, which is unsurpassable, would not be enough to free it. Beyond, time ceases and leaves, at its edge, for us who inhabit it, final images to keep in memory. Between Björk and Eliane Radigue, from choirs like pieces to long meditative stretches, « At the Event Horizon » explores the boundaries of presence and space. On the trace of memory, scales of magnitude blend and merge.
The intimacy of a voice suddenly gives way to the slow oscillations of sine waves, accompanied by a viola da gamba lament. Once again, a voice inhabits the silence, then resumes the relentless course of the waves toward a place where what has begun can end. To avoid getting lost in this sensitive journey, Adrien Pallot surrounded himself with close collaborators: Camille Delvecchio and Clément Variéras joined him on his quest, the first with her voice, the second with his bow. In four tracks, the argonauts teach us that together we can return from afar.
