With The Space Choir, a new wind is blowing through the Dutch choral landscape. From twenty-somethings to pensionados, the queer community, experienced or inexperienced vocalists, everyone is welcome! The Space Choir was started by Lucas Vermeer, who wants to connect people with each other with this atypical choir. They sing unexpected 'bangers' like So Hot You're Hurting My Feelings (Caroline Polachek), Bodyguard (Beyoncé) and Back on 74 (Jungle), under Vermeer's enthusiastic musical direction. This makes every colorful performance by The Space Choir a party where you can't sit still.
