Kriolôs in Concert

On Saturday, October 25th, 2025, Voice Events will present the special event Kriolôs in Concert in collaboration with de Doelen. In the iconic Grote Zaal we celebrate 50 years of Cape Verdean independence with an impressive program in which music, culture and history reinforce each other, an evening full of meaning and experience.

The greats of Cape Verdean music shine on stage:
Tito Paris – icon of the Morna and Coladeira
Boy G Mendes – musical pioneer and bridge builder
Dudu Araujo – fiery interpreter of Cape Verdean rhythms
June Freedom – the voice of a new generation

In addition to the concert, there is an exhibition dedicated to Amílcar Cabral, the visionary freedom fighter and thinker who continues to inspire with his ideas about culture, identity and liberation.

Kriolôs in Concert is more than a musical spectacle: it is an ode to the Cape Verdean man who was the first to set foot on Dutch soil and laid the foundation for the community in Rotterdam.

The evening ends festively with a vibrant afterparty.
