Film: Tot de Laatste Noot

Festival for Opera Music Theatre

Can four internationally renowned aging opera singers continue to meet the high demands?

Tot de Laatste Noot, directed by Marlou van den Berge, is a film about four internationally renowned opera singers who are challenged by their age to continue meeting the high demands the opera world places on them. Are they capable of reinventing themselves? What happens when they cast off the burden of extreme perfectionism and embrace the 'imperfections' of their voices and changing bodies?

This screening is a public premiere attended by director Marlou van den Berge. Afterwards, there will be a Q&A with Marlou.
