The musical connection between Fay Claassen and Koosje was immediately apparent during their first performance together. On 10 May 2025, four-time Edison Jazz Award winner Fay Claassen presented Koosje with the Rabo So Who’s Next Talent Award. That evening, they sang two unexpected duets. The experience left them wanting more and led to their joint tour, Get Happy!, inspired by the famous Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand duet, which they will of course perform tonight.
On this tour, Fay and Koosje bring together their own songs and personal interpretations of familiar repertoire, including work by The Beatles. Jazz, pop and other genres flow together in an evening full of improvisation, humour, charisma and musical surprises.
Fay Claassen is an internationally renowned jazz vocalist and four-time Edison Award winner, known for appearances at North Sea Jazz and on Beste Zangers. Koosje is a versatile singer, multi-instrumentalist and composer with a warm, crystal-clear voice. Together, they create a special musical encounter that brings together their different backgrounds, shared passion and chemistry.
This concert takes place at LantarenVenster, Rotterdam
