Violinist Eva Saladin explores the expressive power of the Baroque in this recital. Featuring music by Veracini, Scarlatti and Geminiani, the programme brings together virtuosity and refinement. Veracini’s Sonate accademiche allows the violin to shine through theatrical gestures and graceful lines, while Scarlatti’s Toccata and Geminiani’s Sonata offer a vivid glimpse into the Italian Baroque tradition. A concert in which rhetoric, freedom and ornamentation come together to tell the story.
