Around Easter, the Netherlands Bach Society returns with Bach’s St Matthew Passion, an annual tradition that continues to make a powerful impression. In this monumental narrative, Bach weaves chorales, arias and choral movements into a compelling musical drama. The Bach Society’s clear, historically informed approach brings out the emotional depth and spiritual power of the work.

A performance that brings contemplation and intensity together in one of the most remarkable compositions in music history.
