Bach Hohe Messe

Toonkunst Rotterdam has a rich Bach tradition and was the first to perform the St. Matthew Passion in the Netherlands 155 years ago. On November 18, we present another well-known and impressive Bach masterpiece: his Mass in B minor, also known as the Hohe Messe. Praised for its grandeur and complex musical structure, this work showcases Bach’s craftsmanship and promises an evening filled with beautiful music.

Toonkunst Rotterdam performs the Hohe Messe together with Collegium Delft, conducted by Maria van Nieukerken.
