Week of Legacy Giving to Culture in de Doelen
Music moves us, connects us, and stays with us.
To ensure that future generations can also experience the power of live music, we need the help of music lovers. From 3 to 9 November, it’s the National Week of Legacy Giving to Culture in the Netherlands. During this week, we highlight a special way of supporting the arts, leaving a gift to de Doelen in your will, and we offer the opportunity to talk with us about what this could mean for you.
By including de Doelen in your will, you help safeguard the future of our iconic concert hall, a place where unforgettable moments are created and cherished, just like the ones that have stayed with you.
ways to make a lasting difference
Leaving a legacy to de Doelen can take many forms, from a fixed amount to a percentage of your estate. You can dedicate your legacy to a cause close to your heart, such as talent development, music education, classical, jazz, or pop music, or even to a specific goal, like our magnificent organ.
You may also choose to leave it to us to direct your gift where it is most needed.
Whether it’s a legacy or a larger donation, every contribution has a direct and lasting impact. Thanks to our ANBI charitable status, your entire gift goes to de Doelen, free of inheritance tax.
reflecting on your legacy
The Week of Legacy Giving to Culture is not just about raising awareness for legacy donations, it’s also about taking the time to reflect on your own legacy. It’s an opportunity to decide what happens to what you leave behind.
If you don’t make arrangements, your estate will be distributed according to the law, which may not reflect your wishes. By thinking about it consciously, you can ensure that what you care about today continues to make a difference tomorrow.
