Edo Righini adds
expertise to de Doelen’s board of directors

As of July 1st, 2025, the Supervisory Board of Stichting Concert en Congresgebouw de Doelen appoints Edo Righini as Director of Operations and Finance. Together with General Manager Janneke Staarink, he forms the new duo-board of the iconic concert and congress building. 

Edo Righini has an impressive track record in the cultural sector, in which he distinguishes himself through a combination of strategic leadership and financial-organizational expertise. Since 2021, he was director of Muziekgebouw Eindhoven, where he and the team realized a visible transformation. Under his leadership, the organization grew in particular in the areas of entrepreneurship, audience development and inclusion. The results in the past four years at the Eindhoven music temple are impressive: an increase in ticket sales, a growth in the number of paying visitors and an increase in (inter)national top artists. In addition, a healthy resilience was built and the operation is structurally sound. Under his leadership, the Muziekgebouw Eindhoven has been repositioned as the cultural heart of the city and Brainport region. Edo Righini is also a crown member of the Council for Culture, the government's advisory body in the field of art, culture and media. 

Leendert Bikker, chairman of the Supervisory Board of de Doelen, is pleased with the appointment.
