At de Doelen, you can use Auracast, a wireless technology that streams the sound of the performance directly to a receiver, headphones or compatible hearing aid.
Auracast provides high-quality sound and full coverage throughout the auditorium.

borrow a reciever
You can borrow an Auracast receiver free of charge from the cloakroom. You can choose from:
- headphones
- an induction loop for use with a hearing aid
- using your own headphones
You can attach the receiver to your clothing using the clip.
how the receiver works
- The receiver switches on automatically.
- Wait for the connection. After a few seconds, the name of the hall will automatically appear on the display.
- Connect your headphones or induction loop. There are two connections on the top of the receiver.
- Adjust the volume. Use the volume buttons on the left side of the receiver.
- Enter the hall. The receiver works throughout the hall.
There is no Auracast signal available in the foyer. As soon as you enter the main hall, the receiver will automatically connect to the transmitter in the main hall.
using the induction loop
Place the induction loop around your neck and connect it to the receiver. Then switch your hearing aid to the T setting.
Make sure that the cable of the induction loop is secured to the hook above the clip on the back of the receiver.
your own headphones?
Yes, you can connect your own headphones to the Auracast receiver.
A maximum of two pairs of headphones can be connected to one receiver.
modern hearing aid?
Many modern hearing aids already have Auracast built in. If your hearing aid supports Auracast, you do not need a separate receiver:
- You can connect to the Auracast transmitter in the hall using your hearing aid app. A QR code is available at the cloakroom for this purpose.
- Scan the QR code using your hearing aid app or your phone’s camera.
- The app or your phone will then guide you through the connection process.
after the concert
After use, please return the receiver with the headphones or induction loop to the cloakroom.
We clean the headphones with a disinfectant wipe and return the receiver to the charging station.
