About the Prinses Christina Concours

The Prinses Christina Concours believes in the power of music and supports children and young people in their musical development. Through competitions, a mobile concert hall (the Classic Express) and De Muziekwedstrijd for the youngest participants, the Prinses Christina Concours is a leading platform for music education and talent development. The Classical Competition is the PCC’s largest and best-known competition. Young musicians aged 12 to 19 (singers up to 21) can take part. The competition consists of five regional selection rounds held across the country, a national semi-final and a final. Participants have the unique opportunity to gain valuable stage experience. They receive feedback on their performance and have the chance to win prizes that support their artistic development, such as masterclasses, concert tickets or the opportunity to perform as a soloist with an orchestra.
