Popronde 2026

Every autumn, Popronde travels across the Netherlands, giving a new generation of artists the opportunity to present themselves live. In 2026, 103 emerging acts have been selected to perform at venues and unexpected locations in forty cities. During Popronde Rotterdam, three of these acts come to the Eduard Flipse Zaal at de Doelen: KRAM, MAHA and tenderblom.

KRAM
Irish-Dutch alternative/post-punk band KRAM from Amsterdam makes music driven by urgency, tension and collective release. Under the motto ‘Love Stands Forever’, the band uses its music and live shows to search for connection in a divided world. In 2025, KRAM won the Amsterdamse Popprijs.

MAHA
MAHA is a Sudanese multidisciplinary artist and zine publisher based in the Netherlands. In recent years, she has reinvented herself as a punk artist and founded Mahazine. Through her post-punk music, she uses creativity as a form of resistance against oppression and prejudice, while also celebrating self-expression and community.

tenderblom
After ten years as guitarist and vocalist with Pip Blom, Tender Blom is setting out in his own musical direction with tenderblom. Working as a producer for artists including Tom Forever and Lena Hessels also helped him discover how much he enjoys creating music. His solo project puts all the choices in his own hands, resulting in a sound that moves between hyperpop and pop.
