New Year's Concert
Three choirs and a selection of guest musicians will take the stage in the Main Hall on Saturday, January 2, for a grand New Year’s Concert. With 250 members, the Sionskoor 5, conducted by Peter Wildeman, is one of the largest national choirs in the Netherlands. The choir performs a Reformation-based repertoire that blends tradition with musical expression.
The Urker Zangers are known for their powerful voices and broad repertoire. They sing traditional Urk songs, sacred music, and arrangements of well-known melodies. The Christian men’s choir Soli Deo Gloria, conducted by Jaap Kramer, will present a program of classical choral works and sacred songs in keeping with the Urk singing tradition.
