Amsterdam-based singer-songwriter Celine Cairo moves between subtle indie folk and vibrant pop.

With her debut album 'Free Fall', recorded in Los Angeles and featuring the streaming hit 'Hibernate', she reached millions of living rooms in the Netherlands and far beyond. The follow-up, 'Overflow', was created between London and Amsterdam in collaboration with British producer Tim Bran (London Grammar, Birdy, HAEVN). A new international audience was tapped into, a series of live videos took off online, her songs were streamed millions of times, and found their way into American series.

Live, Celine manages to enchant both small and large venues with her regular band, using a dynamic that effortlessly transitions intimate guitar songs into a more robust, yet always refined, live sound. NRC Handelsblad called her performance at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam “An oasis of beauty,” and Oor wrote: “Celine is ready for the big time.” This year, the time has come, and she returns to Dutch stages with her full band and her long-awaited third album, Panacea. Regarding the album, she says: "'Panacea' means 'miracle cure' and is the name of the Greek goddess of medicine. I feel that we, as individuals but also as humanity, are very much in search of forms of healing. This album is about the paradox of that search: the harder you pursue happiness, the heavier it becomes. The more you can let go and be in the moment, the more space is created for happiness and love. This album and this tour are an ode to that letting go, and a celebration of our turbulent lives in which we cling on and let go again. I think that surrendering to that is the closest we can get to happiness."
