None other than Nikola Meeuwsen, winner of the 2025 Queen Elisabeth Competition, comes to Rotterdam alongside the outstanding violinist SongHa and the Barbican Quartet to perform two masterpieces. Franck’s Piano Quintet in F minor is one of the most passionate and emotionally charged works in 19th-century French chamber music. Chausson’s Concert for Violin, Piano and String Quartet, written for the legendary violinist Eugène Ysaÿe, is one of the most compelling masterpieces of the French late Romantic period.
Rarely does chamber music combine such power with symphonic intensity. In short: two masterpieces performed by an absolute top-tier line-up!
