Anniversary weekend, 60 years of de Doelen

In May 2026, de Doelen celebrates its sixtieth anniversary. What opened in 1966 as the cultural cornerstone of Rotterdam’s post war reconstruction has grown into an international stage for music, culture, and connection.

The anniversary will be marked with a festive programme from 15 to 17 May 2026, where past, present, and future come together. With special concerts and unique exhibitions, the anniversary weekend serves as the starting point for a new direction de Doelen will take.
