Have you planned an evening at de Doelen and would you like to have a drink beforehand? Come and visit us in de Doelen Studio. You can also linger after a concert at the bar and enjoy a cup of coffee or a drink. To complete your evening with dinner and/or overnight stay, you will find several tips on this page.

de Doelen Studio

Within the walls of the Doelen, on the bustling Schouwburgplein, the Doelen Studio is open to everyone (even dogs)! During the day a coffee bar, hang-out, flex desk, book club. In the evening the place for live jazz, karaoke, hip-hop and much more. Step inside or take a seat on the terrace for a cup of coffee, a drink or a quick bite. At the same time, be surprised by the diverse (free) program of the smallest Doelen stage.

Syrian chef Maher Al Sabbagh is back with his tasty buffet in the Doelen Studio. Every Friday he surprises the diners with ancient Palestinian dishes, Sicilian anti-pasti, Syrian soups, but also traditional Dutch desserts as hang-up.

Maher is popular! Ensure yourself of a place by making a reservation before 00.00 on Thursday. Walking in without reservation is also possible, but gone = gone.

Restaurant JAQ is located right in the centre of the city, in the side of the Hilton Hotel on the Kruiskade. Here you can enjoy an all-day dining concept, where you can choose any dish at any time of day.
