Award-winning, three times GRAMMY-nominated vocalist Jazzmeia Horn in a special concert at de Doelen, where you can hear pieces from 'Dear Love' as well as new work from her upcoming new album 'Messages'!

Vocalist and composer Jazzmeia Horn has been praised by The New York Times as “among the most exciting young vocalists in jazz, with a proud traditionalism that keeps her tightly linked to the sound of classic figures like Nancy Wilson and Betty Carter, but with a vivacity of spirit and conviction that places her firmly in the present.”

Jazzmeia Horn is already being compared to illustrious names like Sarah Vaughan. Horn won two prestigious jazz honors in the Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition and Thelonious Monk Institute International Jazz Competition

Her debut album ‘A Social Call’ was the first Grammy nominated work, followed by her second album ‘Love and Liberation’ ,and third album ‘Dear Love’ presenting her ever-expanding talents with the release of her first big-band effort, gifting the world with exquisite big band arrangements in a message of unity, strength and power on every level, fully exploring the breath-taking integrity of Horn's work.

Together with the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw, the top bigband of the Netherlands, she will provide the audience with a concert, where you can hear pieces from 'Dear Love' as well as new work from her upcoming new album 'Messages'!
