A list of the next generation of master pianists is incomplete without Pavel Kolesnikov.

Together with his piano-partner Samson Tsoy, he will play a unique performance in de Doelen, both seated at the same piano. Schubert’s Fantasia in F minor is the corner stone of the piano four-hands repertoire, and one of the most famous piano pieces in general – a melody that everybody has heard at least a few times. And Stravinsky’s Rights of Spring is even more well-known. And it is worth mentioning that the four-hands adaptation is perhaps even more impressive than the version for orchestra.

Pavel Kolesnikov and Samson Tsoy are not only pianists, but also the brains behind the Ragged Music Festival, a unique chamber music festival that takes place in an abandoned London school building.
