The first half of Sinfonia Rotterdam’s new year’s concert is a nod to the traditional Viennese new year’s concert. After the intermission you will hear Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony: the perfect energy for the start of a new year, while also leaving space to reflect on last year.
The endearing soprano Elenora Hu won the popular television program Aria in 2021, after which she started vocal education at the Opera Studio, run by the National Opera. De Volkskrant wrote: “In the opera talent show Aria, soprano Elenora Hu gradually changed from a timid wallflower into a confident diva.”
