During 5 October's talent break, Boccherini's charming rococo, Beethoven's contrastful classicisim and Brahms' stormy romanticism get into a dearing relationship. The music is performed by three musicians, who saw the light of life in Toledo, Bucharest and across the street nearby de Doelen.
Cellists Celia Camacho Carmena and Canmelia Ciobanu chose Codarts Conservatory for their master's degree and they started working together and with pianist Sander Sittig.
This isn't Celia's first performance in de Doelen. Last June she played Brahms' Double Concerto in de Grote Zaal. Sander Sittig debuted in de Grote Zaal as well, as the solist in Beethoven's Fifth Piano Concerto.
Celia, who was awarded in cello and chamber music competitions in Austria and Spain, has a lot more to offer: apart from studying the cello, she studies physics as well. She is selected to participate in the National Cello Competition in Amsterdam, later this month.
