Both harp player Lavinia Meijer and the New York violist, radio maker and curator Nadia Sirota own a treasure of extraordinary music and anecdotes by and about composers who determine the status quo of the contemporary music scene. After collaborating with Olafur Arnalds, Philip Glass and Iggy Pop, she continues her search for new music in this mixture between a lecture and a concert with Nadia Sirota. Sirota is the contemporary music programmer by the New York Philmarmonic Orchestra and creator of the podcast Meet the Composer. There is no better guide for nowaday’s music than she is!
