The Turkey Now! Festival has returned, and kicks off the latest edition with an unusual conversation between the Metropole Orchestra and Turkish vocalist Candan Ercetin. Candan Ercetin has been working as a vocalist for over 25 years and has scored several hits following her Eurovision Song Contest victory, most of them strongly influenced by her Persian roots. Tonight, she will be performing a musical combination of Turkish and Balkan influences, including compositions and arrangements the Metropole Orchestra wrote specially for the occasion.
